Purple Heart Family Support™ From MarineParents.com

Upcoming Events:
Lunch, Bethesda Naval Hospital
Upcoming dates for lunches at Bethesda are handled on a week to week basis. We're providing lunches or dinner twice monthly to the wounded Marines and their families. As of March, 2009, we've provided over 3000 meals for families at Bethesda with their Marines or Sailors.

Dinner, Wounded Warriors Barracks, Balboa
We provide dinner for wounded warriors at Balboa each month. The barracks are for all branches of the service, and our dinners include between 100 to 150+ men and women at any one time.

If you would like to make a donation to help support the cost of our monthly lunches at Bethesda or Balboa, use the "Chip In" link above, or click here to donate in our MarineParents.com Interface.

We began serving lunches for Marine families at Bethesda Naval Hospital in January of 2007, and more recently, dinners for the Wounded Warriors of Balboa in late 2008.

We are currently spending $2600 monthly; not only do we need to cover these costs, we would like to commit to more dinners and lunches for our wounded warriors and their families.

Our mission is to provide support to the families waiting at the bedside of their injured or ill Marines and Sailors by providing lunches and fellowship during the weekends at hospitals around the United States and to encourage support of our wounded military personnel in communities throughout the United States.

Our current focus is Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland and the Wounded Warriors Barracks in Balboa, San Diego, California. We hope to provide additional support at additional locations as funding through donations allows.

Informational Web Site

We have a team of Purple Heart Family Members that are working with us to provide additional information and support services to the family members of injured Marines. We're putting together information and links to family members in a "learning center".

If you are interested in helping out, of if you have some information to share, please let us know. Use the "contact us" link on the left side navigation.
